Someone I do look up to.

Joss Whedon.

Interesting stories. Tales of humanity. Melding of genres. Iconic characters. Integrity. Honesty.

Listen to his acceptance speech on behalf of Equality Now, an organization on women's rights.

I'll start posting about my own work again soon enough. I think all this typing of concerns and beliefs is confusing my brain--at least the criticizing of other people.

But some people just call for it!

BREAKING NEWS

From Joss Whedon himself!

Egad! He is no longer doing Wonder Woman!

I have to say I'm fairly disappointed. I wasn't ever a fan of Wonder Woman, but I was interested in seeing what Mr. Whedon did with such an iconic female heroine (since he seems to tackle those so well). He certainly would have brought her up a few notches in credibility. But I think he knows well enough by now that if he and the studio execs aren't agreeing, it's best to just let it go.
